FYI: The past couple days, I've posted combatlogs that I've had sitting on my desktop ready to go. Don't remember which ones I've gotten and which ones I've missed, but I've uploaded 3 or 4 over the week-end for your viewing pleasure.

Data from last night's ICC10. Saurfang gave use a head-ache and we kind of got a late start, so didn't make it as far as I'd like, but still a successful night. My only concern was basically the blood beasts. We didn't have a shadowpriest to slow down the beasts after the initial forst traps. That seemed to give that second one a bit more free reign to run around and reek havoc. Kind of lead to more blood points from people overrunning each other with blood boil and a couple range issues with healing.

That seemed to give that second one a bit more free reign to run around and reek havoc. Kind of lead to more blood points from people overrunning each other with blood boil and a couple range issues with healing. Yeah, I had a couple of thoughts on SF. We had 6 peeps in range (4 DPS and 2 healers). Seems like that led to two problems: (1) very little kiting room if the slowing doesn't deliver (i.e., totem doesn't work, beast misses the trap on aggro)...leading to overlapping ranged (i.e., within the 12 yards) and blood nova problems, and (2) ranged deeps getting out of healing range by spreading out. Also, this fight really is a melee Patchwerk. Other than watching AoE on blood beast spawn, they pretty much get to unload on the boss with 100% facetime. Given these two points, it seems to me like 3 melee and 3 ranged is the optimal lineup for this fight, all else being equal. That said, we got him down pretty low on the second attempt, so we were close despite the issues .

Combat log of the Monday stonewall against RotfaceEven though we only dropped him to 28% on our best attempt, I think it was a productive night. Its just going to take practice and coordination. Festergut required a similar two night learning curve, so I'm confident we can get Rotty down soon. Right everybody!
