Mostly I just DPS'd the bosses and stayed out of crap. This is, essentially, every encounter in the game. ;D

It is at the heart of it, but there's:
"AoE the adds" and it's kid brother "DPS the add", but when is it important to do this and when is it best to just dps race the boss and ignore the adds.
"Interrupt now!" and do I even have an interrupt and how do I know I'm the one that's suppsed to do it?
"CC such and such" and do I have useful CC other than fears that may just send the add off to pick up more mobs.
Knowing these things keeps me from having to /ignore more and more a-holes populating the random dungeon parties. ;D

In the troll instances, I think only the Panther Boss (ZG) and Firehawk Boss (ZA) have significant adds. You may also need to DPS the big white bird on the Eagle Boss (ZA) and Oganot on Bloodlord (ZG), but your mileage may vary depending on class makeup and DPS and all that. In raids, you should be told what to do by the raid leader. Roles and all that vary tremendously, and you could well be on adds one week and the boss proper the next. "Interrupt now!" and do I even have an interrupt and how do I know I'm the one that's suppsed to do it? I don't *think* you do, but I don't know for certain. For most fights, at least in instances, you don't need any kind of interrupt rotation. I think Jerry likes to set one up on Venoxis in Zul'gurub, but he's the only person I've seen do it. Your CC is fear. Get and use Glyph of Fear. For the love of god and all that is holy, get and use Glyph of Fear. It keeps the feared mob from running and picking up friends. You'll probably switch that out if you start raiding at some point, since other classes have CC, but for instancing, get it and use it.

Banish! I forgot banish! Banish is your CC for elementals and demons. I think Fear works on everything else.
