Now that hockey season is over, graduate school is winding down, and we're actually sitting down to roll characters and such, I had the "what schedule is good with you" conversation with Jill. Officially, I have the wifely blessing for one Sunday per month. We can probably squeeze in the odd second Sunday (or Saturday) here and there.
Specific times were not discussed, but the "let's start at noon and finish at 8 once a month" was agreeable.
Short reasoning is "our Sunday afternoon spent chasing Claire around Pub Dog whilst she plays with the dogs is awesome, let's keep doing that." I wholeheartedly agree with that assessment.

Okay, after returning from the first night of "D&D," I'd like to backpedal from the above.
I'm only available one day per month, preferably a Saturday.
I am not available on Sunday the 27th. That's Anniversary Weekend.

Ok, sounds like we're in hold for at least a month. Gives me time to generate the new idea I have for my background.

Speaking of playing schedules.... Do we have one?

I think this is in Bob's hands, and I get the sense that scheduling games is not going to be as easy as we had hoped when discussing this a few months ago. I also know Mike doesn't want to commit to a campaign with fewer than four players.
That said, I have played *nothing* since Christmas (except for games with Andy) and I'm jonesing to play anything. Rachel is finally done with her school responsibilities so I should be able to shanghai her into a game or two but I have a backlog of other games I want to break out:
- The X-Wing miniatures game - SAGA, the viking miniatures game - Battlesystem, the classic DnD miniatures game - Hail Caesar, the ancient Romans/medieval miniature game - Fortress America, the World War III strategy game
Not DnD, but each are one shot/single night game that can accommodate a wide range of players. Also, I totally dig miniatures games. I can also run a one shot DnD dungeon crawl thing too.

Those games sound like fun. I'd be up for most of them and could be coerced into the rest.
