Hi there people with no time. I saw this new DnD game coming out, Legends of the Sword Coast, which seemed like some sort of Diablo-like thing (but based on 5th edition), but I was intrigued by the "DM mode". They give you the tools to create your own campaign, run players through it, take command of enemy bosses, write dialogue, etc. It seemed kinda neat, but maybe too much work. Anyway, just throwing it out there in case you were interested as well. It's for PC and Mac.

Looks pretty cool... I've missed this sort of game, since Neverwinter.

I have the PC version... haven't played it in a while, but with the kids settling into school and the house stuff well on it's way, I'm hoping to get back into a routine that involves some game play and was looking at D3 being one of the games getting fired back up. You know if the PC version hooks up with the PlayStation version for multiplayer?

Nope, no cross platform support. So sad.Well, there's always Legends of the Sword Coast!

I played a good bit of Diablo 3 on the Mac. I enjoyed it, bought the expansion as well. Kinda ran out of gas with it.
I recently picked up Borderlands 2 and a bunch of expansion/DLC stuff off Steam. Been playing that periodically when I have the down-time and wherewithal. Got back to about the point I was in when I played it on the PS3. Finding it *much* easier on the computer - the controls are much more intuitive. I suck at Playstation.

Yeah, I played a bit of the Destiny demo on the PS3 in anticipation of Star Wars Battlefront.... think I might have to go PC for that. Mouse > Thumbsticks.

I couldn't do the driving sections and had a lot of problems just aiming on the PS3. Blew right through it on the computer. Some of that, I'm sure, was familiarity (even though it'd been a couple years), but a lot of that is biomechanics.

But I like plopping on the couch. And on console you can multiplayer/share screen I think. So the boy and the swimbo (haha!) can join me. Decisions decisions.

For Diablo, I'm sure I'd be fine with whatever. For FPS type games... well, I've only really played Borderlands 2 and even then only fairly briefly. Been a long, long time since I played Dark Forces, Doom, Duke Nukem 3D, or the like. I'm intrigued by the Star Wars Battlefront, but not sure I like the whole multiplayer thing.

So I finished the Destiny demo on the PS3. Do you guys know about this game? It's Warcraft, but as a sci-fi FPS. I was pretty clumsy at first but by the end of the demo I was getting headshots against the AI enemies. The most fun I had was joining a small group of other players in an impromptu raid against some giant robot bug boss and his various adds. Anyway, it gave me enough confidence in my console FPS skills to add a PS4 and Star Wars Battlefront to my letter to Santa. And if any of you are up for some online something, let me know. Rachel is going back to work, so I imagine my evenings will be free for killing things regularly.

Do you know off-hand if SW: Battlefront is going to be available on the Mac? Because that might have to be a thing I ask for.
Right now, my list is mostly "upgrades to the kegerator that I didn't want to shell out for." Which is nice and all, but not exactly something my mother-in-law is going to get me.

Boo to this, though I may have to give it a go all the same.
