Oh good! You are watching it? Rachel's going to bail ("too dark"), but I totally dug it. Those poor NPCs!
Really good. Beautiful cinematography, great acting, and intriguing ideas. But if the guests can't get hurt, do they at least lose XP or something when they are shot? Kinda saps the thrill from the game if it's just a glorified Club Penguin.

I intend to watch it, yes.
Some of the stuff I've been reading says that Ed Harris is a guest, but I thought he was a robot.
My understanding was that the robots can't hurt the guests. They're programmed to not. Though I only watched it the once and that. Acting was very good.

I think it goes beyond programming. The robot shot at Ed Harris without effect. I think the guns might fire blanks when pointed at a living thing maybe? I dunno.

Ed Harris got shot all to hell but didn't die, but there was blood and such. I'm gonna chalk it up to *handwave* MAGIC! for now at least.

Finally caught up on all the episodes. Not sure what you were referring to Bob, but after the last episode it appears that "pyrotechnics" may be manually controlled from HQ. Neat show. I like it, but Rachel is pretty cool on it. We both laughed with Douche Hat pulled some sweet loot from the Bounty Hunter encounter. I've read some mentions of an Easter Egg ... I guess that's the map? Really interesting to see everything from the NPCs PoV. Those poor folks in Goldshire must have thought we were insane setting off Icestorms inside the tavern and having near constant duels in the streets.
